Pill Packaging Using Dispill
Our pharmacy provides pill packaging services as an easy and effective way to keep track of your medications. We want you to be safe!
We currently use Dispill pill packs. These conveniently break down each days medications into morning, day, evening, and night time slots.
These come at no extra cost to the patients, and provide a safe way to organize and dispense your daily medications.
Med Sync
We offer medication sync programs that allow you to pick up your prescriptions once a month.
Compounding
We are the only local pharmacy that formulates non-sterile compound medications specifically for you.
Injections
Whether you are needing seasonal or maintenance shots, our pharmacists are always willing to lend a helping hand. We also disperse psychiatric injections for those in need.
Drug Return
Expired medications can pose a risk to you and your family. Why not dispose of them properly in our medication return bin?
Medication Therapy Management
MTM (Medication Therapy Management) is a service provided by Shakamak Pharmacy that focuses on helping patients manage their medications effectively, improve patient outcomes, reduce medication errors, reduce adverse effects of medications, and reconciliation. Our pharmacists will make telephone calls and counsel patients on their prescriptions. Follow-up and monitoring with ongoing support to ensure our patients are safe is part of MTM, as well.
Delivery & Shipping
We provide a delivery service to have your medications brought to your doorstep.
Our deliveries are scheduled for Wednesday's only. To ensure timely delivery we ask that patients call by Monday of the week they wish to receive their medications.
Jasonville residents can have prescriptions delivered free of cost. Outside of city limits there will be a $3 delivery fee.
We also offer shipping options for your monthly medications.
Village Post Office
We have flat rate boxes and the First-Class Forever stamps available for $12.60 a book.
Copies and Faxes
Ask our friendly staff about making you copies or faxing documents securely to wherever you need.
Gx Smart Cap
Shakamak Pharmacy offers Gx Smart caps. These caps fit on our regular pharmacy vials that you receive normally. The smart caps monitor your medication intake and provide LED lighting that alerts the patient when it is time to take their medication. Gx Smart caps also notifies the pharmacist if prescriptions are being taken as directed and allows for better pharmacy-patient communication and adherence. These are optional, but are great for prescription organization and reminders.
